What is milling?

Milling is a type of machining during which rotary motion is always performed by a tool, and feed motion is performed by a tool or by a workpiece. The machines that are used for milling are called milling machines. The process of milling concerns wood, metals and plastics.

Peripheral milling includes slab milling and slot milling.

Our factory performs CNC milling for which we use a professional, vertical machining centre Chiron 23, model FZ 18L of the High Speed series. This centre is distinguished by high efficiency, working speed, precision and reliability. Vertical machining centres are equipped with two tables that allow working in a more effective way and, consequently, reducing production costs and the price charged for the services provided.
