Modern machining

Machining allows to process materials in terms of shape, size and surface finish. Such processes are classified as material removal processing, which consists of removing individual layers of excess material and converting it into chips/shavings. This is why we distinguish between chip machining and abrasive machining.

Modern machining can be carried out using traditional methods with the use of specialist equipment as well as computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Computer numerical control machines have numerous advantages such as:

• items are made with perfect repeatability
• very high precision machining
• lower production costs of the processed items
• reduced time to produce the items
• full control of the whole process from beginning to end.

• CNC milling machines (CNC milling)
• CNC lathes (CNC turning).
