We powder coat metals

Powder coating is currently the most effective method of painting metals, and this method is also applied in our metal forming plant. Powder coating consists in the application, on a previously mechanically and chemically cleaned surface of a workpiece, of paint in the form of powder. We use electrostatic or electrokinetic spraying to effectively coat the metal piece, which is then placed in an oven at a temperature of approx. 200 °C with the paint layer applied. The paint melts and polymerises in the oven. Thanks to that, the paint will not come off the powder-coated component.

For powder coating in our plant, we use an automated line that was purchased solely for that purpose. It allows us to paint up to 500 m2 of surface (with maximum dimensions of 3000x1700x400) per hour. Powder coating makes metal parts extremely durable and resistant to corrosion, chemicals, heat and mechanical damage. Moreover, the painted surfaces are smooth, without any streaks or cracks, spots or ripples of any kind, and they perfectly mask the inaccuracies of mechanical processing. This method also allows us to protect the environment, because in the process of coating the surface no harmful substances are emitted into the atmosphere and the paints used are safe both for man and the environment.
