What is CNC milling?

CNC milling is one of the latest methods of material processing. CNC stands for Computerized Numerical Control. Thanks to the computer, the controlled machine achieves even better machining parameters.

In the case of a computer-controlled milling machine, there are only advantages and benefits, which include:

• high precision
• high repeatability
• high work rate of the machine
• minimum waste
• versatility of the materials that can be milled
• flexibility of the production line.

A CNC milling machine should be operated by a suitably trained operator whose task is to appropriately implement the project that is to be carried out by the machine. In addition, he must carefully analyse whether the project does not contain any errors, possibly correct it before implementing it. If everything is ready, the milling machine starts its work, which consists in executing feed motion of the object, while the tools in the machine make rotational movements. A CNC milling machine gives you the possibility of making for example grooves or other decorative shapes on the processed object.

In our plant we also offer CNC milling services, which we perform thanks to a vertical machining centre by Chiron 23 (model FZ 18L) from the High Speed series. Our machining field of this centre enables us to mill parts with dimensions of 400x400x2000 mm and produce small-sized parts with high quality of machined surface.
