What is an eccentric press?

Eccentric press is the most popular type of mechanical press, which is used for metal and sheet metal machining, and mainly for such processes as:

• embossing
• bending
• forming
• riveting
• punching
• drawing
• cutting
• pressing.

Eccentric presses are presses in which the reciprocating motion of the slide is generated by an eccentric and connecting rod from the rotary motion of the flywheel and shaft. The press is driven by electric energy using a gear or belt transmission. The movement of the press allows for a very wide range of metal or sheet metal processing, also thanks to the outreach design, which can reach up to 400 tons. Machining with such a heavy machine is much easier if the work is additionally supported by electronics and automatics, which definitely influence the speed and quality of the production process. Such presses are used in factories, tool shops and workshops.

Our company also uses eccentric press with pressure up to 320 tons. The working range of our machine includes cutting, embossing, etc. of plain steel (S235, S355) and aluminium steel (PA). We also provide services of hydraulic presses with a pressure of up to 160 tons, which also work excellently in our plant.
