Machining

Machining consists in removal of material by cutting tools called machine tools. Cutting edges of the tools have a predefined geometry, and their number is set. The machining allowance is produced during material processing, when it is turned into so-called chips.

The following machining processes are distinguished:

• turning
• milling
• drilling
• reaming
• boring
• redrilling
• planing and chiselling
• broaching and pushing.

There are the following types of machining:

• rough
• very fine
• medium
• fine.

A machine tool is used to machine the material to give it a specific shape, surface roughness and dimensions.

Our factory uses CNC machines, such as lathes (CNC turning) and mill machines (CNC milling).
