Powder coating

Powder coating consists in application of electrified particles of powder coating to the previously prepared and chemically or mechanically pre-treated surface of the coated object (material). Powder coating remains on the surface of the material thanks to electrostatic forces.

The process of powder coating is achieved through the operation of specialised equipment, such as:

• painting cabins, in which powder coating is applied to the surface of the object
• powder coat oven used for fusing and hardening of coatings at a given temperature
• powder coating spray gun: used for electrostatic powder coating.

Advantages of powder coating:

• powder coat paint is resistant to corrosion
• full use of the powder coating
• the coating conceals machining induced flaws of the material
• lack of chemical emissions into the environment.

Our factory uses an automated line for powder coating, thanks to which we are able to coat elements of dimensions such as 3000x1700x400, and complete coating projects by coating as much as 500 m2 of the surface per hour.
