Punching is a technological process that involves cutting a specific shape using appropriate machines called presses. These presses are equipped with punches that press down on the material (mainly sheet metal) with great force, punching out a component of the correct size and shape. Punching is not a complicated process, but it requires experience on the part of the machine operator and the right choice of punches. This is because the strength of the punches must be greater than the sheet metal they will be punching. It should also be taken into account that the die should be matched to the material to be punched and that its shape corresponds to the manufactured part. Otherwise, the expected shape will not be obtained and may even lead to damage to the press.

In our plant, we offer you metal forming in the fields of punching on presses and embossing. We perform punching services using plain steel (S235, S355) and aluminium steel (PA). We do all punching processes on professional presses:

• eccentric presses with a pressure of up to 320 tonnes
• hydraulic presses with a pressure of up to 160 tonnes.
