What is the TAWERS ACTIVE WIRE system?

The TAWERS ACTIVE WIRE system is an advanced welding system developed by Panasonic, and it is equipped in our Panasonic TAWERS TM 1800 WG3 welding robot. This system enables us to weld ultra-thin materials made of both stainless and non-stainless steel, as well as components that don t require high linear energy. It is particularly effective for applications that demand high welding speed and aesthetically pleasing welds.

The key advantage of the TAWERS ACTIVE WIRE system lies in its continuous adjustment of welding parameters throughout the entire welding process. This capability allows for precise control of welding speed, current intensity, and wire size to meet the specific requirements of each individual task. The system utilizes a special arc sensor to monitor the welding process in real-time and adjust all welding parameters on the fly, ensuring optimal results.

TAWERS ACTIVE WIRE is also equipped with various anti-spatter features such as Arc LiftStart and Arc LiftEnd. These functions help prevent the formation of craters at the end of the weld and reduce the amount of spatter generated during welding.
